Here's a gorgeous and original galaxie xl fastback hardtop from deceasedowner's estate.. He was a fomoco collector, mercurys and fords. And a localneighbor. This is a totally rust-free car built in the los angeles plant thathas only 47,998 miles. Car codes for medium blue metallic.. It was hood and rear deck lid, the door jambs and engine bay allpristene and better than factory in my opinion. It has gt rocker stripes andfine double belt line pin striping. The interior has been redone in the factorycorrect blue(code rb) vinyl with the pebble grain inserts. The door panels areoriginal with no rips,tears but do show some minor fading at top.. Newcarpet and headliner along with the rear shelf have been installed. New doorweather stripping and trunk seals have been installed. Original window felts aregood but a brand new set is included still in the box. The trunk is correctfinish with original restored jack. The bumpers are new and other chrome isoriginal with some minor wear. Fastback and xl trim is hard to come by sooriginal items have been used in the restoration. This car is very presentable. Has power disc brakes and power steering.. The carburetor has been some minor tweeking at idle but starts excellent when cold and idlesdown.. New plugs and wires have been installed. This is a very nice low mileage mustang lx with the ssp package. The car wasused by the santa clara california district attorneys office for theirundercover as a spare. Unit number 91054. That isthe reason for the low mileage when sold by the state in 2006. Mileage at thattime was approximately 46000 miles. The car was purchased by a gentleman incanada who had a bare metal respray as well as refurbishing the interior withnos seating materials, etc. I do have two large binders with pictures anddetails of the work he had done at that time. The car was unmarked and thus noextra opening were cut into the body for for lights, antennas, etc. The car doeshave a red and blue light on the rear package shelf and a magnet light base fora red light behind the passenger side sun visor. The car has a siren andsquawker speaker in place as well. As the wig wag light system. These systemsare inoperable but can be easily brought back to use for shows or personaldisplay!!! There is a non-working radio head below the regular am-fm radio. Thewiring for the radio system is still in place to the trunk and is hidden beneaththe carpet... The car is in very good condition and runs and drives extremelywell. Tires are goodrich t/a radials with the white lettering turned to theinside. I bought a set of refinished ten hole wheels for the car and had theminstalled on the car. The ac works well and the heater core does not leak. Thepassenger door electric lock will not lock. I am selling an extremely rare 1974 ford bronco sport explorer with 61,478 actual/original miles!!!! This vehicle is a 2 owner vehicle, bought from bob rice ford, and kept local its whole life. There is no rust on this vehicle, and in my opinion, the paint is a 9 out of 10 with a few small scratches here and there. The white on the vehicle was an after purchase add on by bob rice ford of boise, so it is all ford factory paint. It obviously has the original drive train. All body components on the vehicle, are stock, and came on the vehicle, with a few additions later. In 1978, the rear flares were altered. It has power steering, disc brakes, and still has the original yellow idaho title. All service records since new, with the service manuals are included. There is some wear on the driver seat, as it was left as original as possible. There are a few scratches on the interior dash.
