I have owned this car for 10 years. Safety updates include seat belts for five, 4 wheel discbrakes, modern brake booster with dual reservoir master cylinder, and a newsteering gearbox with road feel and quicker ratio equal to a new car. Mechanicalupdates not available in 1965 include an overdrive transmission, electronic fuelinjection, new fuel plastic fuel lines and an in-tank pump enabling this car toperform like a much newer car, keeping pace in higher traffic speeds andachieving 20 mpg. During my ownership the interior was completely redone, thecar comes with additional vinyl in both patterns. Every part in the factory airconditioning and heating has been replaced except the evaporator and works verywell. I have not painted the car, the paint is over 10 years old, it still looksvery good. I received the car on a california title and a black lisc. Plate andbelieve the car was only in california until i acquired it. The car has theoriginal floor pans and trunk floor. I am unaware of any rust or major bodyrepairs. I appears that the trunk floor was undercoated inside the trunk priorto my ownership. I have maintained it with trunk paint through the years. Hasthe original mat also. I has been maintained with such use in mind and i neverhesitate to drive it long distances. Air Conditioning

Selling 1968 gto original 242 car, would be a good candidate for restoration. Car was originally equipped with an automatic on the column, previous ownerinstalled a muncie 4 speed original transmission comes with it along with acolumn. Car is driven when mood strikes, i can jump in and take it for a spinand it hasn't left me stranded yet. It is starting to leak oil out of the rear main andthe right side exhaust manifold has a leak (i believe it is cracked). Radio hasbeen removed and windshield wipers are not working. Previous owner had electricfuel pump between the factory mechanical and car i unhooked it and car runs finenot sure what he was doing.

2nd owner since 2000. This is a 4th vehicle in my collection. Time to let some go. Brand new tansmission installed by pontiac dealership. Car is solid other than some staining on cloth top as shown in picture, cracking of leather on drivers seat and very slow a/c freon leak. Freon has to be added about every 12 to 18 months over the past 10 years. Very well kept and clean. Air Conditioning

1980 turbo trans am ws6 handling package and t-tops. I've owner this carsince the late 90's. The car was built in ohio but spent most it's itstime in south carolina. It had a blown head gasket when i bought it and was themost rust free and original ta i'd ever seen, the only rust on the car wasone small rust spot on the drivers fender that was cut out and replaced withmetal when it was restored. I kept the car in indoor storage until about 5 yearsago when it was restored. It took 3 years to restore and it was completed about2 years ago. I tried to keep as many original parts on the car as i could. Everything on the car was either rebuilt, reconditioned or new. The engine wasrebuilt, bored . 030 over, it has a mild cam and lifters designed for turboengines and the heads were completely redone with new valve springs and guides. The carburetor and turbo were rebuilt also. The interior got new carpet,headliner and seats reupholstered, the dash, console, door panels and trim areoriginal and the original built sheet is still in the rear seat back. The rearend got all new bearings and seals. The trunk is in the condition it was when igot the car i've never had to do anything to it. The t-tops are in greatcondition and i have the original storage bags for them. The original wheelswere reconditioned and new cooper cobra p 245/60/r15 tires were installed. Thecar runs and drives great the only thing that i know of that doesn't workis the radio and ac, it has a slow leak in the system. Air Conditioning

Has all options available that year including monsoon radio, power seat, t-tops and automatic transmission! Ls1 v8 pulls strong and transmission shifts nice and solid as it should! Suspension is tight and solid also, does have brand new shocks and brakes! The car is all stock except for the new slp exhaust, a nice deep rumble without being too loud! The exterior has normal road paint chips that have been touched up, other then that no damage or rust or anything!! The interior is in very good shape has no rips or tears, and everything works like it should!! Does have ice cold air!

This car has the original numbers matching 389. It came from the factory with a 4 speed and a 4 barrel, but has been upgraded to a tri-power. I have the original 4 barrel manifold and carburetor. This is a driver quality car, not a show car. The paint looks good but has some imperfections. It is sitting on bf goodrich redlines, that look like new, and keystone classic wheels. with power steering and power brakes, it is a pleasure to drive. I don't know if the engine has ever been rebuilt. It is a great sunday driver! As a bonus, i have the original owners manual, warranty book with pontiac protect-o-plate, and phs docs.
